An Institution for Watch-Lovers for 30 Years
How it all started ...
30 years ago we had the idea of bringing watch dealers and collectors into contact with potential buyers. In July 1989, for example, the first Munich watch exchange opened its doors in the German Museum. The enthusiasm was great and from this point on the fair has been a regular meeting point for national and international dealers and chronophiles.

30 Years Watch Fair
Several hundred national and international exhibitors stop at the Munich Watch Exchange
special pieces ready for dealers, collectors and private visitors. The fair, which took place in the Deutsches Museum for the first time in 1989 and started with around 30 exhibitors, has developed into the largest event of its kind in the world. Rare technical rarities from different manufacturers and epochs - from Biedermeier and Art Déco to the present day - are available.
